The Bishop's toenails

I remember, when I was a student, shooting a roll of black and white film of Bishop Elphinstone's tomb outside King's College Chapel. I was in Aberdeen today and decided to go back a photograph it again, <mumble-mumble> years on.

I'm going through the shots and enjoying processing them. I'm keeping some in mono, but the biggest surprise is the realisation that with my previous black and white shoot I missed the fact that...his toenails are painted purple!!
