Glenfinnan

This was supposed to be my last day of light duties before resuming site work in anger. A very late call has delayed our site start tomorrow.

Anyway, with this being the last day off and with a good forecast we went to the beach at Morar for a walk and a picnic. While there were a lot of people coming and going our time at Camusdarrach pretty much gave us the beach to ourselves. Having had a decent morning walk Caley couldn't believe his luck getting to run madly after his ball and splashing in the sea.
On the way back Mrs SJR made a brilliant suggestion, to stop at Glenfinnan for a wee walk round. At this time of year you get nice sunsets looking down the loch. While I like morning and evening light I don't get that excited about snapping sunsets but I am happy with how this turned out.

Bit of trivia; The figure depicted on top of the monument here is that of a Jacobite soldier, not Bonny Prince Charlie. The only statue of him in the UK is actually in Derby.
