Solace Day 8.

Frosty yet again.   Heading home today which means loading the land Rover.  due to the ice on the pontoons we made no attempt to do any outside washing/cleaning on Solace.  She will soon be going in for winter maintenance so it isn't as important as usual.

The run home was comparatively effortless.  The there was the preparation for New Year's Eve.  A different Christmas but thanks to the wonders of modern technology we had kept in touch with my brother and the children (South Africa and Sheffield).  The mate had managed to be in touch with the western Isles and Spain so all had gone well.
