Life through the lens...

Fur and feather.

Adel Dam,Leeds.
Not what we had planned for today, but our passports have been put away as my sister has a bad cold, and so our train trip has been postponed until next week.

However we made the most of the glorious winter weather, and went over to Golden Acre Park, and a walk to the bird hide at Adel Dam.
Managed by Yorkshire Wildlife.

Needless to say Itook lots of photos. Some I will put on extras.
A mandarin duck was swimming about in the reeds, also lots of nuthatches, long tailed tits, Jays, blue tits, among others.
We had the woods to ourselves, and both said on a day like today with the golden sunlight and blue sky, couldn't think of anywhere better.

However I decided on this shot of the robin, who today has been upstaged by the squirrel.
Not often you get both in the same shot.
