Discharged

Our new year celebrations included some drama.  Ellen's brother who was sharing our celebrations had some pains on New Years Day which he investigated on the web.  It was identified as an angina attack.  An ambulance was called, it arrived and they wired him up asking all sorts of questions.  They took him to hospital.

In hospital, he was told he had had a minor heart attack.  They wired him up again and gave him some drugs to reduce the chance of another.  They tested him, investigated him further, inserted an stent and sent him home with a bag full of drugs.  We picked him up this morning.

He is now committed to a change of lifestyle.  And is an even greater supporter of the NHS.

It was good to have him back.
