Food Art

Our activity this week for the student gathering is Food Art. Honestly, I didn't really know what that meant when I saw it on the schedule. (Neither did my Thai friends.)

However, this is my version of it!

We used rice as the base (mashing it together almost like clay or playdough) and then decorated our figures with carrots, cucumbers, green beans, beats, tomatoes, seaweed, and eatable leaves.

By the end of the night there were penguins, frogs, cats, a snowman, an island with a shark and coconuts on a palm tree, and all sorts of other creative pieces of art. It was a fun evening. :)
