Blackburnian Image

It's a sculpture of a Blackburnian Warbler by Janice Doppler. We commissioned it back in July, when we met her at her exhibition in Greenfield; she delivered it a few days ago.  It's our favorite warbler, and I've been fortunate in photographing them (she used a few of my images to work from; my favorite is in this gallery on my website). 

In the afternoon we  headed for Bradley International Airport, bound for Europe via a new Aer Lingus flight to Dublin.
