Seedhead

Went for a short, but lovely walk in the woods close to the house as the young grands went to play in the park. They did not want to walk with me to the shops!  It tried to snow which gave rise to a lot of fun. Not enough to make any difference although I did notice lots of salt had been distributed so perhaps proper snow fall is expected.
I was lucky enough to see a hind with two young ones in the woods - lovely to see her although camera was hiding in the bag out of the damp so no record!  I also saw the owl - extra - who is well camouflaged in his tree.  Main photo of a seed head I found during the walk.
Last night here before the onerous journey back to the UK.
