Crummock Water

Another glorious day and a trip to Buttermere seemed like a nice way to finish our stay up here. We did the circular and then nipped down to Crummock Water for a last few photos that lasted about an hour.

What an incredible difference there is between these two lakes probably only a quarter of a mile apart, what made it even nicer was maybe it was because of the cold but there was not a person to be seen anywhere which is almost unheard of up here.

Crummock feels more like a Scottish Loch in many ways and has the goods as well, ice, trees, boats, islands and stony shore a top way to finish off our time up here.
