Day 24: Path

Our picnic in the park was delayed today as we waited for our shopping to be delivered. We'd managed to eat the cupboards bare so out delivery was much anticipated.

Once packed away we went to a park near Ziggis house for sandwiches, sausages and strawberries. We stayed for ages and it was only the rain that made us leave in the end.

My mum bravely offered to have the 2 older girls over night this evening. They've only ever been away maybe 4 times so it was a strange & exciting event. As we dropped them off L refused to leave, even going as far as hiding and crying 'I want to stay at nannys house, go away mummy'. As a result I left with no children! And nannys house was full to the brim (my brother & his girlfriend were also staying as Will had a job interview round this way).

Came back and it was so quiet we could hear the clock ticking over dinner. My oldest friend Shelley came round to keep is company.
