Magnolia

There is a beautiful old magnolia tree in one of our parks, and there are many blossoms on it at the moment.

I would have thought it would have been unsuited to the cool climate of Blackheath, and have always associated them with the Deep South, but it seems very happy.

This flower, though past its prime, is still very beautiful.
