Toad Rock

The fantastic sunny days we had in the Lakes seem like weeks ago when in fact it is less than a week. Today was dull and drizzly and everything looked monotone. Walked from the house to town via Toad Rock in Rusthall. There are many sandstone outcrops in this area and Toad Rock is one of the more impressive. There are other named rocks such as the Parson's Nose and the Lion but more imagination is needed to associate the shape of the rock with its name!
