Up and into Edinburgh this morning to deliver Mrs Rex to Waverley station for the 11.30 train to Harrogate. Stopped off at South Queensferry on the way home for a wander round the place despite the rather grey, dreich morning. As you can see from the extra not everyone let the weather spoil their day.

The main photo is the 'Black Castle', a house built in 1626 for a sea captain who was later lost at sea with his ship. His maid was convicted of getting a witch to cast a spell on him and both women were burned for witchcraft. There is no record of the builder being punished in any way for the state of these windows...
