The mighty Mt. Fuji!

I was walking close to the Yurikamome Shin-Toyosu station this evening and I saw Mt. Fuji between the Tokyo bay area buildings, bathed in the soft light of the setting sun.

Mt. Fuji (or Fuji-san as it is called in Japanese) is a rather elusive sight from Tokyo in summer because of high humidity in the air and clouds near the mountain. However, on a clear day like today, seeing Mt. Fuji suddenly from somewhere in Tokyo is a pleasant and welcome surprise.
