Missed them! The Cong-Galway boat race took place today. Last year we knew in advance and were out at Kilbeg amongst them as they came in, joining in the festivities. This year, the date slipped my mind and I was closing windows upstairs I saw them leaving the pier! Oh well, just caught the tail-end as they headed south towards the river and the city.
