Binham Priory

G and I took a trip out to an English Heritage site today, the Binham Priory ruins. They stand next to the church which is still used today, in fact we were lucky enough to be able to lurk on the pretext of taking lots of photos and listen to the choir practicing for a concert tonight. As you might expect, the priory fell into ruin following the Disollution of the Monasteries during Henry VIII's reign. I'd love to return on a better day for taking photos.

My back is getting better, thank you for your good wishes, although I did ask Gracie to drive rather slowly down the bumpy single track roads that are plentiful in North Norfolk!
