Botanics

We took a walk through the Botanic Gardens today. As expected at this time of year there was not much colour to be seen but already, many plants and trees have their new buds on them.  I spotted some snowdrops and also some daffodil stems.  It's been a fairly mild winter here so far but it's still early days in terms of Scottish winters, so hopefully it won't be too harsh or cold to hamper the new growth.
