Sunday in the Park with...

Mr P did a bit of preparation for the oncoming decorating this morning while l had a lie in after a bout of insomnia where l hadn't gone to sleep until past 4am.
So we were rather late in setting off to our favourite city park for a walk around the lake.
As we arrived lots were getting back into their cars after completing their dog walking, jogging, prampushing, power walking or strolling around our intended route.
The wintery sun was sinking behind the trees making a pleasing reflection in the larger of the two lakes we circumnavigated.
I always have sentimental reasons for walking around here, we came here on a wintery Sunday afternoon for our very first date, unfortunately when l mentioned this to Mr P he had no recollection of it! Well it was nearly 50 years ago and we have done this walk, many many times.
Here he also taught me how to perform a flying header with a football , a skill l was particularly proud of. (not on our first date l hasten to add!)
Then through Ram Woods to the car, home for dinner then Sherlock on TV.
I really need to give it my full concentration, the pace is so fast and punchy.
Think it is some of the most compelling drama on the box!
