Daddy Thursdays

The build up starts on the Wednesday. The excitement that daddy's day off is a Thursday. It's like a little mid week treat. A tease for the weekend! And when mummy woke up at 8.15 this morning and everyone in the house was still sleeping that was the icing on the cake. This has NEVER happened before. Thursday's are becoming our favourite day of the week!

More good news for mummy later when daddy's rugby training was cancelled due to a frosty pitch. As not to tempt the good fate of this day, we stayed at home for most of it.

But when cabin fever set in later on we took a run to Toy R Us to buy a new car seat. Mummy and daddy tried not to look at the price of the toys they had bought before Christmas that were now half price in the sale. Maybe next year they could celebrate Christmas a week later? We would absolutely never know!
