Misty walk by the river Thames

Back to Bodypump this morning after the Christmas break. Lots of new faces in the class. I wonder how many will be back next week.

I filled up the bird feeders before lunch and watched as two robins faced each other off and puffed themselves up to their full extent.

As we arrived at the river side, you could already see the mist rising from the water. As we were taking photos, a huge flock of geese were disturbed by a dog (you can just see it in the photo) and they all headed towards us. I quickly turned round to try and fire off a few photos and this is the result. They almost collided with us.

The walk was lovely - mild, still and atmospherically misty. We went over the horseshoe bridge, over the new pedestrian bridge (twice) and then back via Caversham bridge. There were lots of people out walking. We did 7.5 km in total and husband exceeded his fitbit target by a few thousand steps.

Back home for a coffee and to rustle up a quick macaroni cheese before the American Football playoffs on TV this evening.
