The birthday girl

Pippa, the birthday girl, spent the whole day racing in the Pepermans criterium. As the race was organised by Pippa's club, I helped out the whole day too (in fact I had to be at the pool an hour earlier than Pippa!).
She did quite well with 3 PB's and she was quite happy - especially as for a birthday present from us she was allowed to chose a new racing suit in the Speedo shop. This photo is at her last race (the 4 x 50m mixed relay).

In other news - Abbie was racing as well, she had a New Year's run in Gent in which the rowing club participated - knowing that running is her least favourite part of rowing training, she did really well!

PS blipped this slightly late - after the race we went straight out for dinner and then all straight to bed.
