On our way to buy bread, Mr Snippets took me for al little drive in the country. I was amazed to find these bucks when we passed one of the farms.

The Springbok (spring=jump & bok=antelope or goat) can reach running speeds of up to 80 km/h. It was adopted as a nickname or mascot by a number of South African sports teams, most famously by the national rugby union team.

The Springbok is currently the national animal of South Africa.
