Nigella

The remains of a Nigella plant in the garden, proving yet again that nature in close up can look really weird.  It is a lovely plant in summer but this makes me think of a meteor or an eyeball from some scary monster.
I applied to volunteer at a local cafe called The Usual Place and today was my induction, so hopefully I won't make too many mistakes.  It started off quietly but then a large party of people came in at lunchtime and it was pretty hectic.  Time to chill out now.
