Tiny Tuesday

I walked into Stratford this morning to help a customer with her online tax return. This has been made even more difficult, especially for the technically challenged, by adding a front-end extra security feature. When we tried a couple of weeks back this beta system kept crashing. One issue is that the initial access code to get into the system is sent by automatic phone call, now if you happen to be onto HMRC trying to get help this call has to be disconnected, after waiting a fair while to get an answer, to obtain the code.

Following this is various questions from a credit rating agency, many of which need research to answer. It was after all this the system kindly informed us there was a technical problem and to try again in five minutes (starting back at the beginning).

We finally managed to get at the form after thirty minutes frustration. Who said computers make life easier? (That question coming from me, a lifelong techie nerd!).

Later I met Ann out of 'work' for a coffee at Nero.

Today's Tiny Tuesday submission, hosted by Paladain, is a tiny raspberry leaf I found on my plate after lunch.
