Gulls

An early meeting at the other campus meant I could have a quick spin around the lake in Lister Park to check for any interesting visitors.

In among the hundreds of Black-headed Gulls (foreground) there were ten or so larger Gulls sporting various plumage between juvenile and adult. The one pictured is one of the juveniles and in the dark art of gull identification I'm torn between Herring and Lesser Black-backed.
