This is not a drink, but a kitchen science experiment I did to make sure I had the same experience as my Open University students. It was an investigation of the effect of salinity on yeast growth. It didn't work first time when I used old yeast from the back of a cupboard but was spectacular with fresh yeast - a lesson there about not keeping yeast for years I think.
