As ever the woodpecker is an elusive bird, however, stand still long enough and a dart will skim through the trees. This one landed and shimmied around the branch to present a pleasing silhouette in search of food. 

Extra, sheep politics in action. The owner found a young ram which has probably suffered a stroke. It is, unfortunately, not long for this world as it cannot feed.
