A portrait by Vincent van Gogh

This is a piece of fun art for the children who visit the Kelvingrove Art Galleries. Three sets of eyes, noses and mouths .... correctly match to make one if the portraits in the gallery.

Van Gogh painted this portrait of Alexander Reid, his flat mate in Paris, in 1887. There is a slight difference between the puzzle and the real thing .... no prizes for spotting it!

I want to make portraits that will be revelations.... in a century's time .... I am not trying to paint using a photographic likeness ....
