Edinburgh Castle

As well as the Fringe, the main festival, the Book Festival, the TV festival etc, the city is hosting the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. I've not been but have enjoyed the fireworks twice a night whilst I've been here.

On Wednesday I was invited to a showcase of Australian performers at the Fringe hosted by the High Commissioner. There are about 90 Australian acts here in Edinburgh. The show finished with the Australian Combined Forces Band who are playing at the Tattoo. They were really good. I particularly enjoyed their rendition of 'Highway to Hell'.
