We have snow

For almost a week now the weather pundits have been predicting the end of life as we know it. Arctic weather conditions have been predicted by every branch of the media and masses of advice on how to cope with this threat has been freely available ,especially to motorists,many times a day.
My point is the season is called Winter, we are in January and the actual prediction of wintery weather lasts for 1 day only. Having said that the snow in the picture is as close as I want to see the stuff getting  to my cosy front room.
