Abstract Thursday

Well, what a day. 7:30am the gas engineer arrived. And although I'd been told it may be a day and a half job, portable heaters overnight etc, when he walked me through the job he assured me I'd be up and running by tea time.
I must say British Gas have been excellent. Power flushed, new boiler, cleaned up well, explained everything as they went along.
Nice warm house again, hot water and no snow - yet!!
Oh yes, the blip - unsurprisingly is the old boiler grunged up!
