The Avenue...

Maisie and I drove to the Taylor Dam this evening and walked around the park-like reserve. This avenue runs to the lakeside. There is a barrier at the end to keep unauthorized vehicles out. There are wild mulberries and arbutus trees along the avenue. The late sun was laying a streak of golden light across the path in front of us.
I have been busy all day packing up gear for a holiday in Kaiteriteri. I can't wait to be beside the sea.
