50 tulips on the Norwegian Tulip Day

Every year third Friday in January we celebrate the Norwegian tulip season that actually start in November and end in April.

The first tulips came to Norway for about 400 years ago, and they are still the most popular flowers. Mostly all of the tulips sold in Norway are grown by Norwegians farmers. During the season we (we are 5,5 millions) buy 80 millions tulips.

HAPPY FRIDAY :-)
