High tide

with added extras - very high and a strong on-shore north westerly wind. The sea is splashing over the sea wall rendering the seat unusable! Some brave foolhardy soul (not me) had driven down and helpfully illuminated  the scene. The circle with 1 in it is on the warning post of the breakwater the rest of which is submerged.

Long stretches of our east facing coast have received a flood warning and some villages have been evacuated.
