Winter over Windermere

A long day out today.
We went to Heysham again to check out the bird watching by the power station. The wind was phenomena, the rollers were crashing in and the tide was really high. Not many birds.
Then on to Roudsea Wood and a walk through the coppice,
over to Ulverston for some petrol and milk and then home over Gummers Howe where I took this photo. The snow around here didn't amount to much, probably a good thing!
