Grey swan

In glorious winter light, we popped up to Harlaw to walk around the reservoir. Something of a contrast to this, which is the last time I was there (with the Belles).

It was somewhat treacherous underfoot, but I made it right round (about 4kms), without recourse to a stick or a sit-stop (there were photo stops, of course). It wasn't properly light when we got there, as the sun had not yet popped over the tops of the Pentland Hills lying to the south and east. This made for some interesting spooky light.

Home via the supermarket, to find that my new bag had been delivered. I'm quite excited by its innovative design. This may provide a suitable blip in days to come. Rugby and vegging out now.

First semi country walk, with very limited use of stick.
