Scott's Story

Daddy Historical Daycare

Most Sunday mornings Ewan and I usually walk into Stirling for some breakfast and then a play at the swing park.

This morning on the way home I decided to miss out going to the modern King's Park with all its swings. slides and sand pits and instead take him to the old King's Park which is known as the King's Knot or more locally the Cup and Saucer.

The King's Knot is the green area of land at the foot of Stirling Castle and Ewan was very happy to learn that he was now playing in the King and Queens actual play park where their kids used to play.

After 30 minutes he looked up to the castle and waved goodbye to the King and Queen and a Sunday morning history lesson was over.
