Door keeper

Went to see the church: St. Mary's in Deane, the other side of Bolton.  This head is on the gateway leading in to a huge cemetery in which stands the church!  The gateway is like a little castle with a crenelated top! There is a quote above the gate:
"The house of God and this is the gate to heaven. Genesis 28.12"
