Last weekend of the Fringe

Day of work then a bunch of Fringe shows with Cyclops.

Fringe show #42: Ro Campbell's Freakin Awesome Pick Of The Fringe
A compilation show hosted by the lovely Ro Campbell whose full show we enjoyed the other day. The acts included a parody band, a contortionist, and a guy playing some kind of kids mouth piano thing. One act was a man parodying a market researcher working with disadvantaged kids in Newcastle. So that was weird due to it being my life...

Fringe show #43: EastEnd Cabaret: Notoriously kinky
I cannot speak more highly about this show, it was fantastic. An easy five stars, the best one I have seen so far, Brilliant. Essentially a singing act, the two performers have charisma, excellent voices and impeccable comic timing. The songs are filthy but always have a clever spin. It went far too quickly.
Rating: 5*

Fringe show #44: Magic Faraway Cabaret
Another cabaret compilation show, this one less memorable than some. So much so that as I write I can't remember much about it. Sorry.

Fringe show #45: Itsy's Midnight Kabarett
The later night cabaret show of the early evening one we've seen already. Basically the same idea, but everyone is drunker. As the Fringe has just about come to an end there was a bit of an end of term feeling about the thing. The compares got extremely drunk, the event organiser shouted at a few people, and it went on about 45 mins later than billed.
