Movie time

Sebastien is still fighting the sneezles and wheezles associated with this cold, so this evening we watched his favorite movie, Lady and the Tramp, together.

We seldom watch movies with him and he's never watched TV, so when he started watching movies this year, he was unable to understand much more than "the dog is going up the stairs." and "she's barking now." It's been fascinating watching his ability to understand the full story of the movie grow over time. He's developing his understanding of visual language in parallel with his ability to understand verbal language in stories and books.
