sleepy sabbath

We all went out for a big breakfast at the small, local airport this morning, and watched some small, local airplanes take off. Then we went for a bird walk, but there was nothing to see because a multitude of people were out running a half marathon along our route! So we came home for a nap.
And our evening bird outing was also very quiet, as reflected here in this shot at sunset of "our" lagoon.
It was a good day to "be still and know."
