R.I.P. Chuck Deely

How bizar, exactly a year ago I made a portrait of the most popular street artist of The Hague as you can see here.

Today people pay their respect as he unexpectedly died a few days ago.

There are tribute seas of flowers at his main performance spots at the Central Station and at the entrance of the Hema.

Many stop for a moment to honor Chuck as he had a very special status in our town - explanation in my January 15th 2016 entry - and to shed a tear as you can see in the extra.

There will be a special tribute in the famous pop temple 'Het Paard van Troye' on Monday the 16th prior to his cremation the next day.

R.I.P. Chuck Deely, keep on rocking in the free world!
