Anniemay Has Another Birthday

We drove to Mosman today for a picnic lunch by the river, this is a great little spot 'Chidley Point'(see extra)
We were thinking of Anniemay and her plans for her Birthday, in fact i know celebrations are in place to last her until the end of the week, good for you Anniemay! enjoy every day.
A bit of info on the origins of Chidley Point:
Captain Chidley Irwin was the first white settler to set foot on this location now known as 'Chidley Point' he arrived in the Swan River colony with the first governor, Captain James Stirling, Irwin was commander of the sixty third regiment, later absorbed by the Manchester regiment.
This area was also home to the Noongar people before the white settlers came,.
If the Tunyart (28 parrot) ate the nectar from the flowers, Noongars knew it was safe to eat them too. The Pulgart (Parrot Bush), Soap Bush and Peppermint trees were used by the Noongar people after watching the birds. Parrot Bush wood was used for message sticks and the spiky leaves were useful for catching fish, very adapt people.
Have a great Birthday my lovely sis, I've got you in my pocket...
