Gaps in Time

Over the past couple of days I have become more acquainted with the inner construction of these two devices. Until now I can't say I had ever noticed the holes in the back, nor how long a load of tumble drying took as there was only ever relatively small amounts, maybe a couple of loads of washing every week. This epic swan buckling adventure has been like watching Ben Hur as it has seemed never ending! Tumble drying has, however, never been more interesting as instead of approaching with some recently wrung out washing I am now distracted by the camera waiting to fill the memory card with more images of metal perforated with holes!
The sheer quantity of washing to which I am obligated has now decreased by a sizeable amount. The small matter of where to store the newly washed towels, sheets and jumpers with their accompanying aroma of Spring morning, is of course another matter!
Tomorrow will hopefully being a new subject and fresh inspiration for some photos.
