Got the hump

Esther went to the childminders for the first time today but only for two hours to get her used to J (let's call her J even though my profile is private) and the kids. Me and Mum dropped her off and headed to the park cafe for breakfast and a brief trip round town.

We got back and I could hear her crying. J said she had been fine but after a quick nap on her lap she woke up just before we rung the doorbell. When we left Mum said she reckoned she had been crying since we left and cried herself to sleep. Thanks Mum, you do know how to make me feel better!

Esther didn't leave me side the whole day. She sat on my lap quietly and watched tv. I thought she just had the hump with me for leaving her but after a few more nasty nappies and a temperature, I think she might be a bit poorly. Either way I still feel like crap for abandoning her.
