Pomegranate

After we got married 37 years ago, we started getting a box of pomegranates in the mail from Tony's mom each fall. I asked her why she was doing this and she said that every Greek household should have pomegranates in it. A few years go by and I finally asked her what the purpose of having them was. The answer was, "Because".

I do like the way they look when dried and have a bowl of them, just "because".

Today, I am grateful for blindly following a tradition, because I would not have this blip!
