Snow Down Under

By snowy

MY PATCH:

Front garden, surrounded by maple trees.

Middle garden with my house in front on the left. You can see the driveway on the right, which was yesterday's Blip.

Back garden behind the cottage. This land I use for planting maple seedlings, new trees & hundreds of bulbs each year. Namely bluebells & narcissi. This area has a frame of rhodos & camellias.

16 mls of rain last night. There will be many places in N. Z. that had twice that amount , but I'm happy. Rain in January is so rare. There is even a trace of snow on the mountains which means we could be in for a frost. My idea of Heaven, watching Federer play & listening to the rain on the roof !
