Wednesday: Black and White

Full day.......culminating in a talk this evening organised by the Churchill Society. The speaker was an academic from UBC and he was giving a talk about the Middle East and the rise of ISIS (or Daesh, as we call it in the UK). I was sitting next to my US colleague who was having to listen to a lot of speculation on what the next four years under her new President will bring. She is being admirably discreet..........
