Flowering Cactus

Another very sharp frost and about minus six degrees Celsius in my garden this morning. The sun has been shining, but it has been cold; both Dougal and Florence ventured outside for a while.
 
There is not much in flower in the garden, although the Spring bulbs are starting to appear. The Winter Aconites, which are usually first are nowhere to be seen. However, this cactus does not seem to know when it should flower, I do not know either, but in the last day or two it has suddenly started to produce buds.
