warm and dry

As you can see from this photo, its been rather a gloomy day, although mild - the snowdrops are coming up and the birds are starting to sing. A perfect day, then, for doing D's tax return. As usual it took up more time than it should, time when I could have been doing something more creative. But I think it was worth it.
On the creative front, I have made a loaf of bread, knitted a finger of glove, cleared out a cupboard and had a nice phone conversation with Eldest Son. Plus, due to D's efforts, our store of firewood has grown. So now it's time to go and sit by the fire and read a bit of my book :-)
